Ependymoma

This ependymoma fills the right frontal horn of the lateral ventricle. Note the homogeneous texture.

Ependymoma: This is the most common childhood tumor of the cerebral hemispheres. These are derived from cells that line the ventricles. The tumor sites are contiguous with the ventricular system. Tumors near the fourth ventricle usually cause hydrocephalus.
